October long weekend

Walking through the bush from Airport Road aka the paved part of the Dempster to Airport (Dolomite) Lake about 8kms south of Inuvik. Easy walking through open "trees" and 30 to 40cm deep mosses.

This is a blog about my undertakings in the bustling
metropolis of Inuvik, Northwest Territories, in the Canadian Arctic. I’ve been here in the past for visits and in transit to other communities in the region but I decided to take an offer to be here for the fall, winter, and spring 2013/14.
