Last days of the season for the ice road from Inuvik to Tuktoyaktuk and Aklavik

Pix from 10 days ago or so just before the road started to fall apart. Days are getting a lot longer, this portion of the road is due north and the sun was setting at about 11:30 PM

..and the requisite snowmobile shots from along said road the next day.
